Listen to Songs Mentioned in Wallflower

I recently finished reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower and I thought I'd write a poem about the ideas that were brought up in the book. The book was very interesting and thought provoking although it was dangerously similar to The Catcher in the Rye at times but, all in all, it was good. Also, below is a playlist with all of the songs mentioned in Wallflower. The Smiths, Nat "King" Cole, The Beatles, Pink doesn't get any better than this.

You are wistful and observant, yet all alone,
You stand at a distance, looking on,
At the world and the people thereon.
You look at life through a telescope.

You are longing, yet content. Lonely,
Though you are, you just watch them live,
While you just exists: a helpless captive,
To a world you see but don’t know.

You are a listener and a watcher; surrounded,
Yet isolated, never speaking, only hearing.
Never fighting, only fearing.
Incapable of honesty, not even to yourself.

You are an intellectual, a thinker, but still,
You insist upon believing what others believe.
You've seen many things, yet you're still so naive,
You’re ready to believe whatever they say.

You are an admirer and a lover. But you love in vain,
Because you speak of it to nobody.
So what is the use of loving somebody,
If you don’t have the courage to kiss them?

You think things but don’t speak your mind.
You love someone but it doesn’t show.
You have the heart of a leader; yet you follow.
You’re like a wallflower and you don't even know.
