The Lost Hero

It's here! The newest book by Rick Riordan, author of the Percy Jackson series. It's called The Lost Hero and it looks amazing. The description of the book is as follows:

After saving Olympus from the evil Titan lord, Kronos, Percy and friends have rebuilt their beloved Camp Half-Blood, where the next generation of demigods must now prepare for a chilling prophecy of their own:

Seven half-bloods shall answer the call,
To storm or fire the world must fall.
An oath to keep with a final breath,
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death.

Now, in a brand-new series from blockbuster best-selling author Rick Riordan, fans return to the world of Camp Half-Blood. Here, a new group of heroes will inherit a quest. But to survive the journey, they’ll need the help of some familiar demigods.

Can it get anymore awesome? Well, maybe it could if they had to fight an army of zombies in space but this is still disgustingly awesome. I haven't gotten my hands on the book yet but if one of you buy it, I call dibs on it when you're done with it. :)

Also, in honor of this historic day, I thought that I'd ask you all some questions about Greek mythology so that we can discuss the awesomeness of it. Even though it's made up, Greek mythology is awesome and the Percy Jackson series makes it even more awesome.

1. Who is your favorite god or goddess in Greek mythology?
2. Which is your favorite creature in Greek mythology?
3. Who is your favorite character in the Percy Jackson series?
4. If you attended Camp Half-Blood, which cabin would you be in and why?
5. What is your favorite story in Greek mythology?

Give into your nerdiness and answer these questions, I'll try to post my answers in the next week or so.

Aah!! I didn't even know he was writing another book about that! Oh my stars I'm so excited!

Haha ok I'm giving into my nerdiness...

1. Poseidon. I think... I like Zeus too.
2. Centaur.
3. Annabeth. (Grover and Percy are at a tie for my 2nd).
4. Poseidon Cabin. I guess because I really love the ocean and water, so that relates to me the most.
5. The Aeneid! I'm currently learning about it in school and I love it :)
